Sister Maria Victoria Cutaia, OSB has been approved to make her final monastic profession next month during a ceremony in the Adoration Chapel at the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration's monastery in Clyde, Mo.

Sister Maria Victoria, who entered the community in 2007, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and moved to the United States when she was 3 years old. She was raised in Metairie, La., a large suburb of New Orleans.

Her rite of final monastic profession will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Clyde Monastery. The public is invited to the ceremony. An invitation-only lunch will follow.
