The Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration have announced new ownership of their gourmet popcorn business, Prayerfully Popped, which is located in Tucson, Arizona.
According to Prioress General Sister Pat Nyquist, OSB, the new owners are a group of local Tucson businessmen. Sister Lucia Anne Le, OSB, who helped operate the business under the Benedictine Sisters' leadership, will assist during the transition and will train new personnel. Sister Pat commented that the new owners remain committed to the Sisters' promise to provide delicious, high quality products.
A portion of Prayerfully Popped profits, according to the new owners, will be shared with the Benedictine Sisters to support their contemplative, monastic life.
