Leadership of the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration has named Sister Virginia Anne Argenziano, OSB second in command of their Clyde, Missouri, monastery.

She was installed as subprioress during Day Hour on Sunday, June 12, and will assist Clyde Prioress Sister Rita Clair Dohn, OSB in day-to-day tasks of managing the Clyde monastery.

Sister Virginia Anne, a native of Montclair, New Jersey, has most recently worked in the Congregation’s correspondence department, tasked with answering prayer requests and assisting with development appeals.

Throughout her time as a Benedictine Sister, she has served on the general council, was administrator of the Benedictine Sisters’ healthcare facility, worked in the altar bread and the printery departments, was the personnel manager for the Clyde monastery, was elected prioress of the former St. Louis monastery and was a leader of three levels of formation - postulancy, novitiate and of junior sisters.
