Monastery Scents earned two recognitions during the recent Kansas City Holiday Boutique held in early November in Overland Park, Kansas.
The four-day event kicked off the holiday shopping season with 275 vendors selling a variety of items at the Overland Park Convention Center. It was the first year Benedictine Sister of Perpetual Adoration Cathleen Marie Timberlake, OSB, had attended the boutique.
“We had a lovely time and were quite successful in selling our handcrafted soaps, lotions and other bath-related products,” she said. “Shoppers really seemed to respond to our all-natural products.”
The Monastery Scents booth was only one of 20 vendors who earned the Artisan Products decal and one of just 13 recognized as one of Danni’s Favorite Finds.
