The Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration in Clyde, Missouri, have a job opening for Customer Service Administrator in their Altar Bread Department.

Job Summary:

Processes altar bread orders for shipment to customers and maintains a record of each order from the time it is placed until payment has been received. This position entails direct communication with the customers of the Altar Bread Dept. 

Essential Functions:

  • Process orders received by phone and online store for shipping 
  • Invoicing
  • Process and post credit card orders
  • Field customer complaints
  • Use Mass90 (accounting) and Starship (shipping) computer programs
  • Complete weekly/monthly updates and monthly closings of receivables
  • File 
  • Order office supplies
  • Update online store
  • Other duties as assigned by Dept. Manager


  • Computer skills
  • Some business college or equivalent work experience
  • Good telephone/communication skills – ability to remain calm and respectful when communicating with customers
  • Prefer some knowledge of accounting
