Celebrating shared encounters

Visitors from the Sisters of Jesus in the Lord spent time with the Benedictine Sisters in Clyde in July

The Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration welcomed visitors from the Sisters of Jesus in the Lord of St. Joseph, Missouri, in July. They joined the Sisters for Day Hour, shared a meal, gave a presentation about their ministry in Russia and spent time in prayer in the Adoration Chapel.

Pictured (left to right) are Sister Kathleen Clare, Mother Stella, our Sister Lucia Anne, Sister Faustian, Sister Colleen Maura and Postulant Gracie.

Encounters like these remind the Sisters how important the collaboration and mutual support between religious sisters is for the life of the Church and the witness of a shared vocation.
