Benedictine Sister Carmela Rall enjoys her Congregation’s latest business: Prayerfully Popped, Corn from the Cloister. On Sept. 24, the Sisters will host a grand opening celebration of the new gourmet popcorn business based in Tucson, Ariz.

TUCSON, Ariz. –  The Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration will host a grand opening of their new business, Prayerfully Popped: Corn from the Cloister, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at the main store located at 1525 N. Wilmot Rd., Tucson.

The business features a line of gourmet popcorn, with proceeds benefitting the Benedictine Sisters and area charities. The grand opening event will include a meet-and-greet with the Sisters, popcorn samples, prize giveaways, including a home popcorn machine valued at $300, a 5 percent discount on popcorn purchased that day and sales of T-shirts and limited edition mugs.
