Sister Cathleen Marie Timberlake admires the new soap molds she received after hers were damaged during a storm.

CLYDE, Mo. –  After the August storm hit the Clyde, Mo., monastery of the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration and blew out the shop windows and left her soap molds covered with shattered glass and water, Sister Cathleen Marie Timberlake, OSB needed new ones to continue her Monastery Scents soap business.

A friend connected Sister Cathleen Marie with John Monjar, a woodworker in nearby Maryville, Mo.

“John was a blessing! He donated his time and materials to make new molds for me,” said Sister Cathleen Marie (pictured above). “He even made more than I had before the storm, so now I can increase soap production. God truly blesses us with the people he brings into our lives.”
