CLYDE, Mo. – Benedictine Sister Maria Victoria Cutaia, OSB served on a panel of men and women religious recently professed or currently in formation to give insights to the discernment process for a group of new vocation directors.
The meeting was held in October at the Sisters of Charity in Leavenworth, Kan. Sister Maria Victoria shared her vocation story, gave advice to those currently discerning a religious vocation then participated in a question-and-answer session.
“I shared how important it is to help deal with a parent’s reaction to our calling,” Sister Maria Victoria said. “I also shared how my Hispanic background did not affect my discernment, how my community welcomed me with open arms and what that meant to me.” |
