Directions to Clyde Monastery from Kansas City (90 miles)
Take I-29 North approximately 40 miles.
Take Exit 56A for U.S. 71 toward Maryville for 20 miles. Turn right on to Highway M.
Follow Highway M for 7 miles. Go through the town of Barnard and turn left onto Highway AH in the town of Guilford.
Follow Highway AH for 5 miles and turn right onto Highway VV. In 1 mile, the town of Conception will be to your left and Conception Abbey to your right (the church with the two bell towers). Follow curve to the left and then turn right onto U.S. 136.
In 1 ½ miles, turn left on Highway P. In 1 mile, follow Highway P as it curves left toward the water tower. Turn right into the main entrance and park in the second circle driveway on the left.
From Omaha: (120 miles)
Take I-29 South to U.S. 136 East toward Maryville. Continue on U.S. 136 East past Maryville for approximately 16 miles and turn left on Highway P. Take curve to the right and pass through the town of Clyde. Highway P curves to the left twice, and the front entrance is after the second left curve. Turn left into the main entrance and park at second circle driveway on the left.
From Des Moines: (125 miles)
Take I-35 South to U.S. 136 West (right) at Bethany. Continue on U.S. 136 through Albany and Stanberry. Approximately 9 miles from Stanberry, turn right on Highway P toward Clyde. The monastery is approximately 1 ½ miles down the road. Follow Highway P as it curves to the left toward the water tower. Turn right into the main entrance and park at second circle driveway on the left.
