Benedictine Sister of Perpetual Adoration Maria Victoria Cutaia, OSB attended the 2025 Young Catholic Professionals Conference in late April in Frisco, Texas.

YCP is an organization that invites people in their 20s and 30s to explore their faith, life and work on a deeper level in order to enhance personal and professional experiences and to seek authentic friendships. In addition to hosting national events, it offers dozens of local chapters in several cities around the country.

The conference chose the theme “Verso L’Alto: Ascend with Hope,” inspired by the “Man of the Eight Beatitudes” and emphasized a continual ascent with hope on one’s path to sainthood. The theme highlighted Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati’s daily commitment to striving for sanctity through devotion, service and communion. Hundreds of business leaders, mentors, chapter leaders, spiritual leaders and young Catholic professionals were in attendance. Participants listened inspiring speakers and engaged in interactive workshops, networking opportunities, and received the sacraments.

Sister Maria Victoria shared information about the Benedictine Sisters, which served as a joyful reminder that the journey to holiness – whether in the monastery or the marketplace – is one walked together, always ascending with hope.
