The Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration welcomed friends and neighbors from nearby Conception Abbey on the Feast of St. Scholastica on Feb. 10 to their Adoration Chapel in Clyde, Missouri.
St. Scholastica, twin sister of St. Benedict, was a woman of deep faith, trust and holy friendship. She reminds the faithful that prayer binds hearts together and that love is stronger than any storm.
In that spirit of Benedictine unity, the Benedictine Sisters warmly welcome the monks of Conception Abbey to join them each year on Feb. 10 to give thanks for the gift of a shared charism and the grace of community.
May the time together renew in all Brothers and Sisters of Christ a deeper trust in God’s faithful presence and a stronger bond as they seek Him together.
