The Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration hosted their inaugural Called To Be Saints Retreat Nov. 14-16, welcoming 10 wonderful women from Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota and Texas.
The retreatants shared how much they appreciated the quiet beauty of the Adoration Chapel and the gift of praying Mass and the Liturgy of the Hours alongside the Sisters, according to Benedictine Sister Nancy Rose Gucwa, OSB.
She added that the conferences on the saints were a highlight – offering insight into how these holy men and women can guide people in their own call to holiness. Time spent in the Relic Chapel made that connection even more meaningful.
“We are grateful for each woman who joined us, for their openness and for the spirit they brought to our community,” Sister Nancy Rose said. “May the saints continue to inspire them – and may they visit us again soon.”
