A "memorable night" - (13-11-2012)

< back

The Northwest Tower Choir performed a concert in the Adoration Chapel of the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration's Clyde, Mo., monastery on Monday, Nov. 12.

The award-winning choir shared solo performances as well as a cappella pieces, a flute and piano duet and several beautiful scores that "took our breath away," Sister Sophia Becker, OSB said.

The Northwest Tower Choir has performed often in the Benedictine Sisters' Adoration Chapel, enjoying the wonderful acoustics and spiritual atmosphere.

"We are blessed to host them and their conductor, Dr. Stephen Town, and keyboardist, Dr. Charles Badami, and are never disappointed in the performances," Sister Sophia said. "Last night was no different. All in all, it was a memorable night."

The Northwest Tower Choir is composed of students from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville.
