In late January, Sister Mary Stella Cunniff, OSB was the guest of honor during a special brunch to celebrate her 70th jubilee of monastic profession with the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration. It was on Jan. 29, 1944, that Sister Mary Stella made her first monastic profession with the congregation. She is a senior member of the Tucson, Ariz., community.

"She is an inspiration to all of us," Tucson Prioress Sister Ramona Varela, OSB said.

Also, on Feb. 9, the Diocese of Tucson recognized all the jubilarians in their area. This included Sister Lenora Black, OSB and Sister Mary Joy Heinlein, OSB who will celebrate their 60th jubilees of monastic profession this year.
