The Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration in Clyde are hosting a quilt raffle as they prepare for their annual spring sale in May.
The community will host an auction from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m on Friday, May 9, and Saturday, May 10, at their monastery located at 31970 State Highway P. The sisters will also give away a beautiful, queen-sized quilt crafted by a local Amish family. The winner’s name will be drawn during the sale on May 10.
The auction itself will feature building supplies, electrical switches, doors, windows, antiques, furniture, metal display shelving, bathroom fixtures such as toilets, showers and tubs, and a variety of other household-related items.
Proceeds from the sale and the raffle will benefit the Benedictine Sisters’ general fund, which helps support their monastic life. Purchase of a raffle ticket is not necessary, however, a $10 donation is suggested. For more information about the raffle or to get a ticket, please click here.
