The Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration will observe the following services open to the public Christmas week:
Adoration Chapel in Clyde, Missouri: Lauds will be at 7 a.m., Mass at 8 a.m. and Vespers at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24. Carols will begin at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24. Christmas Eve Mass will follow at 8:30 p.m. Lauds will be at 9 a.m., Mass at Our Lady of Rickenbach at 11 a.m. and Vespers at 5:30 p.m. on Christmas Day, Dec. 25. From Friday, Dec. 26, through Wednesday, Dec. 31, Lauds will be at 7 a.m., Mass at 8 a.m. and Vespers at 5:30 p.m.*
Benedictine Monastery in Tucson, Arizona: Lauds will be at 8 a.m. and Eucharist at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24. Solemn Christmas Vespers, with the singing of the lessons, will take place that evening at 7 p.m. On Christmas Day, Thursday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Dec. 26, Lauds is at 8 a.m., Eucharist is at 9 a.m. and Vespers is at 5:30 p.m.
*Clyde's Gift Shop will be open from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve day. It and the monastery will be closed to the public on Christmas day and Friday, Dec. 26. |
