Members of the Knights of Columbus and their families spent Saturday, Jan. 31, volunteering their time harvesting orange trees at the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration's monastery in Tucson, Arizona.

According to Sister Kathleen Clare Lahl, OSB, the bounty is so large this year that volunteers will return next week to complete the harvest. The trees, some dating back more than 70 years, are truly exceptional. Horticulturists have told the Benedictine Sisters that such trees typically bear fruit for only 30 years.
