Several members of the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration in Clyde, Missouri, attended the annual Blisters for Sisters, a fundraising event hosted by the Serra Clubs of Missouri and Kansas on Saturday, May 7, in Kansas City, Missouri.

The event, which celebrated its 10th year, was held at St. Thomas More Parish with spectacular weather for the day. The walk-a-thon and luncheon raised funds for area religious and helped promote vocations to priesthood and religious life.

Representing the Benedictine Sisters this year were Sister Maria Victoria Cutaia, OSB, Sister Joy Ann Wege, OSB and Sister Nancy Rose Gucwa, OSB.

"This is always such a fun event," said Sister Nancy Rose, who has attended in previous years. "The Serra Club is an amazing supporter of the area's religious communities, our priests and those preparing to become priests. We are very grateful for their friendship and support of vocations."
