Photo: Members of religious life living near St. Pius X Parish in Tucson, Arizona, were recently honored with a special Eucharist and luncheon sponsored by the parish’s Knights of Columbus.
The Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration in Tucson, Arizona, were a few of the special guests honored during the annual Religious Appreciation Mass and Luncheon sponsored by the Knights of Columbus at St. Pius X Parish on Saturday, May 14.
Tucson Bishop Gerald F. Kicanas presided at the Eucharist, and then participants enjoyed a nice lunch.
“The St. Pius X Council Knights help us out whenever needed, and Pete Karculias, who belongs to St. Pius X, is part of our Roundtable Knights that meet once a month to plan what needs to be done at the monastery,” Tucson Prioress Sister Ramona Varela, OSB said, “We are so grateful for their friendship and support.” |
