Benedictine Sister of Perpetual Adoration Priscilla Trost, OSB will celebrate her 100th birthday next month.
The Benedictine Sisters are requesting a card shower for those who would like to share cards and letters. Items can be sent to Sister Priscilla Trost, OSB, c/o Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, 31970 State Highway P, Clyde, Mo., 64468.
Sister Priscilla was born on Aug. 12, 1916, in Ohio, and entered the Benedictine Sisters’ monastery on Dec. 7, 1941.
“It was Pearl Harbor Day,” Sister Priscilla said. “I have been happily wedded to Christ through war and peace, through thick and thin, through love, ever since.”
Sister Priscilla made her first monastic profession on Sept. 1, 1943, and her final monastic profession on Sept. 11, 1948. |
