Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration Prioress General Sister Dawn Annette Mills, OSB recently led a three-day retreat at Conception Abbey for church leaders.

Topics included the Resurrection of Jesus, the Wondrous Victory and the Spirit of Jesus.

Rev. Rob Carr, pastor of North Oak Christian Church in Kansas City, invited Sister Dawn Annette to lead the retreat after the two met at the Academy for Spiritual Formation in Schuyler, Nebraska.

While the event included leaders from five churches of varying faiths, Sister Dawn Annette said there were commonalities found among them.

“They seemed to be very touched, very moved,” Sister Dawn Annette said. “There was delight and rejoicing in the spirituality shared.”

The retreat took place May 19-21 at the abbey in Missouri.
