Benedictine Sister of Perpetual Adoration Rita Clair Dohn, OSB was formally installed for an additional term as prioress of the Congregation’s Clyde, Missouri, monastery during a ceremony on July 11, the Solemnity of St. Benedict.
Sister Rita Clair has served as Clyde prioress since 2013. Originally from South Dakota, Sister Rita Clair earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology and history from Northern State College in Aberdeen, South Dakota, and was a case worker for child protection services before entering the monastery. She also served as a team leader for the American Benedictine Formation Conference. |
