Halloween and Thanksgiving have yet to make an appearance, but the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration in Clyde, Missouri, are thrilled to give early shoppers a head start on the holiday season.
Now open is the Christmas Shoppe, a store-within-a-store that offers a variety of Christmas-related items. Those include holiday-scented soaps of Peppermint Patty, Frankincence and Myrrh, and Frosted Spruce, Christmas ornaments, needlework, gift baskets and more. All products are made by monastic hands.
Gift shop hours are 9-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-4 p.m. Monday - Saturday and 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-4:30 p.m. Sundays (hours may vary on holidays and feast days). Please call (660) 944-2221 to confirm the shop will be open before your visit.
