Benedictine Sister of Perpetual Adoration Nancy Rose Gucwa, OSB spoke to more than 100 members of the Catholic Business Network during their quarterly meeting held in February in Leawood, Kansas.
“I shared about my background, growing up in New York, attending West Point and serving in the military, working in the banking and finance industries and eventually following my calling to religious life,” Sister Nancy Rose said.
CBN includes Catholic business leaders and professionals who work to promote the teachings of Christ as expressed through the social teachings of the Catholic Church. Sister Nancy Rose was invited by member Mark Henke to speak to the group.
“It is a wonderful organization for networking among Catholic businesspersons,” she said. “I enjoyed meeting many fellow Catholics living in the Kansas City area and sharing stories about my experiences in business and the military.”
Sister Patricia Vereb, OSB accompanied Sister Nancy Rose and took the opportunity to promote some of the Sisters handcrafted goods.
