Ten years ago this summer the monastery of the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration in Clyde, Missouri, saw devastation wrought by a terrible hailstorm. More than 100 shattered windows - including precious stained glass - and dozens of downed trees littered the grounds.
Volunteers helped with the clean-up, and people donated their time, talents and gifts to help the Sisters make repairs. Things looks much different today than they did on Aug. 19, 2011.
God provides. He provides it in the compassion and in the generosity of others. Our Sisters remain forever thankful to all who helped them through. |
