Monastery Creations named runner up in national contest - (26-08-2022)

Monastery Creations was recently named runner up in a nationwide contest sponsored by Lightning Labels.

The contest invited current customers to submit photos of their products. Winners were selected by an online voting contest as well as a panel of judges. Benedictine Sister of Perpetual Adoration Cathleen Marie Timberlake, OSB entered two photos of her sugar creme scrub.

 The photo pictured above won second place and a second entry placed fourth. It was the first time in the contest’s history that a single contestant placed more than one photo in the winning top five. Sister Cathleen Marie was awarded company credit of more than $1,000.

The Monastery Creations label was created by graphic designer Valerie Kisling.

“I really love how our labels reflect that our products are made in the monastery, and I’m so thankful to everyone who voted for us," Sister Cathleen Marie said.
