Several members of the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration attended Religious Sisters Appreciation Day on Aug. 13 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Shawnee (Kansas).
It was a fun event filled with a program and prayer service, bingo, a wonderful barbecue meal, and reflection.
Attending were (left to right): Sister Maria Victoria Cutaia, OSB, Sister Ramona Varela, OSB, Sister Hope Rodenborn, SOB, Sister Nancy Rose Gucwa, OSB, Sister Lucia Anne Le, OSB and Sister Ruth Elaine Starman, OSB.
The event was hosted by members of Serra Clubs in the Kansas City area, plus Topeka, Saint Joseph and Atchison, and included around 100 religious sisters from 19 communities and congregations. |
