The Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration welcomed friends and neighbors from nearby Conception Abbey for mass on the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God. They then enjoyed brunch and fellowship.
“The Sisters are grateful to our dear friends who have been a part of our 150 years of ministry since day one,” said Director of Communications Kelley Baldwin.
From Abbot Benedict’s homily: “As Mary watched, waited, pondered, carried, nurtured, worried, wept - in deep faith, profound love and constant hope - so have you Sisters. Day in and day out, year in and year out, because we needed you to and God asked you to.”
